None of the person's post, you ignore, show up until you unignore them.
Not sure about PM's.
I sent one to Coach just to try it out and never got a reply. Nothing against Coach just tried it out.

That feature has been used at MMA.tv for years. Works like LPD explained. You simply don't see any posts by the person or persons you have on ignore.
